Grammy Red Carpet Fashion

Big event yesterday! The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards were held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

One of the big winners of the night was none other then Beyoncé, winning six Grammys, among others receiving an award for Song of the Year (for Single Ladies).

However the dress she chose to wear wasn't as big of a hit. I mean I am all for a lady loving her curves but this dress just maximized them without flattering any part of her body.

Lady Gaga didn't do so bad herself, receiving an award for Best Dance Recording - Poker Face.

Her outfit was over the top, not that I expected anything else, but that gorgeous Armani gown was ruined by her yellowish hair don't.

Another artist who cleaned up was Taylor Swift, receiving four Grammys, she was honored for Album of the Year - Fearless, Best Country Album - Fearless as well as Best Country Song - White Horse.

She also looked as cute as a button in her off-the-shoulder Kaufman Franco gown, maybe a little older then her age, but cute none the less.

Fergie wore an Emilio Pucci mini that made her look like a million bucks. Classy is not a word I would usually associate with Fergie but she really looked polished.

And the Black Eyed Peas did well for themselves too, receiving awards for Best Pop Vocal Album - The E.N.D. and Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals - "I Gotta Feeling".

Britney Spears’s song Womanizer was nominated for Best Dance Recording, but it wasn’t a winner, same as her horrifying getup.

Who dresses this girl, really? She should just fire her
stylist and ask Taylor Swift for advice!

From downright horrifying to extremely cute... Carrie Underwood was a vision of classic beauty.

Pink's dress was as breathtaking as her performance and although nominated in several categories, she may not have won a Grammy but her appearance definitely stole the show.

As for Jennifer Hudson, that cut, that color, that dress fit her like a glove.

And then there were some less impressive dresses. Heidi Klum failed to impress in her shapeless dress. Had that dress been on Project Runway she would have definitely been bidding "auf nimmerwiedersehen" to it. As for Katy Perry, it was just plain disappointing. What happened to the girl with the great sense of style????? And then there was Nicole Kidman, this woman is usually flawlessly glamorous, and then this dress...really??? Is this what flatters you the most? This dress actually managed to make the extremely thin Nicole look life she had a belly on her. ...no comment

But my absolute favorite was this dress:

worn by Lea Michele, this dress by Romona Keveza was definitely made to impress. Now I knew close to nothing about this girl and nothing at all about the designer, but the dress made me want to see what else she can do, so I checked out her website.

You can see Romona Kevezas collection at http://www.romonakeveza.com/.

It’s worth your time.
